This two-year program prepares students for careers as paralegals by providing a comprehensive curriculum covering legal terminology, ethics, research, analysis, document preparation, and understanding of the U.S. Judicial System.

Program Learning Outcomes:

1-6. Six key competencies that graduates will master, enabling them to effectively communicate legal information, research complex issues, apply critical thinking, adhere to ethical standards, prepare legal documents, and understand the U.S. Judicial System.

Optional Courses (3-4 Credits):

Students may choose one course from the Global Awareness section of the AAS General Education Checklist in place of POS 120.
