The congregation is named Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia (UUCC) and aims to be a transforming spiritual community.
Inclusiveness: The congregation affirms and promotes full participation of all persons without regard to race, ethnicity, language, citizenship status, color, gender, physical or mental challenge, affectional or sexual orientation, age, economic status, or national origin.
Affiliations: The congregation is affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and the Joseph Priestley District.
Membership: Membership is open to individuals at least 16 years old who agree with the congregation's purpose and make a financial pledge. The financial requirement may be waived in individual cases.
Voting: Members have voting privileges after 60 days of membership. A quorum of 20% of members is required for meetings, and special issues require a 30% quorum and a two-thirds majority vote.
Meetings: Annual meetings are held each year, and special meetings may be called by the Board of Trustees or at the request of 10% of members.
Board of Trustees: The Board is responsible for the overall operation and financial management of the congregation, subject to constraints such as developing written policies and obtaining congregational approval for certain expenditures.
* Officers and Trustees: The Board includes a President, Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, and at-large trustees, with a presidential track term of three years.
