Netball SA's rules for the Australian Masters Games include:

- Minimum age is 30+ years, with age as of December 31, 2023
- Each team must supply a current registered umpire with a minimum C Grade standard
- Points are awarded as 4 for a win, 2 for a draw, and 0 for a loss
- Matches consist of 4 x 10-minute quarters with centrally timed breaks
- No injury time, but umpires may stop the match in extenuating circumstances
- Drawn matches in finals will have a 1-minute break, followed by 2 x 3-minute halves, and play continues until one team has a 2-goal advantage
- Rolling substitutions are allowed
- Replacement players can be used if registered for the sport and only playing in one competition, with a $15 fee
- Finals will be played at the conclusion of preliminary rounds, with teams qualifying based on points and percentage of goals scored
- Forfeits result in a 10-0 score for the non-offending team
- Cancellations due to weather or other causes may result in both teams being credited with 2 points and 5 goals
- Scoring is based on the official scoresheet provided by Netball South Australia
- The organization has a Blood Policy, Drug Policy, Smoke Free Policy, and rules for Appeals and Protests.
