Birmingham Dog Show.pdf

Judging at the Birmingham National Dog Show was challenging due to the difficulty in finding Pointers that excel in both type and movement. Many dogs with correct head type and curvy lines disappointed in their movement, while some of the best movers lacked classic Pointer lines. The current "drag" of the breed appears to be front movement, with several admired dogs struggling to move cleanly. The results of the various classes are as follows:

Puppy Dog: 1st Siddle, Medeiros & O'Neill's Am/Can Ch Seasyde Chesterhope Bingo, 2nd Wilberg's Larchwold Star Chaser at Kanix, 3rd Cooper's Trosnant Casting The Runes.
Junior Dog: 1st Macara's Kanix Kingdom over Cromasaig, 2nd Perkins' Brent Ticket For One, 3rd Walkling's Aspyre Counting Sheep at Kiswahili.
Graduate Dog: 1st Walkling's Aspyre Follow Your Dreams to Kiswahili, 2nd Howes' Millpoint Babe Magnet at Medogold, 3rd Weaver's Anniezu Lovely Day.
Post Graduate Dog: 1st Abbott's Millpoint Dare To Dream for Mirasol, 2nd Hazeltine & George's Hookwood By George, 3rd Stilgoe's Teisgol I Am The One And Only.
Limit Dog: 1st Anthony's Jilony Red Arrow, 2nd Blackburn-Bennett & Wilberg's Coralwood Kanix Mr T, 3rd Oddie's Wilchrimane Igoyougo at Riowood.
Open Dog: 1st Westron's Sh Ch Tenshilling Makin Whoopee at Aurichalcum, 2nd Wilkinson's Port Ch Oliver do Vale Carvoeiro. The winner of the Open Dog class, Westron's Sh Ch Tenshilling Makin Whoopee at Aurichalcum, won the CC.
