Winona Amateur Radio Club's winter holiday party is on January 21, 2016, at Winona's Family Restaurant, starting at 6:00 PM with a social hour, followed by dinner orders at 6:30 PM. The event is open to the public, and attendees can bring their families. The club will accept donations for door prizes and provide additional prizes.

The club is sponsoring a Technician Licensing Course starting January 25, with VE testing planned for March 21. The registration deadline is January 17.

The Minnesota QSO Party is on February 6, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time. The event aims to make contacts with Hams in every county of the state. Even modest operations can participate and have fun.

Winona ARC 2016 dues are payable, with individual memberships at $25 and family memberships at $30. Dues can be brought to the holiday party or mailed to the club's address.

The Witoka tower's internet connection has been successfully made, and more work is in progress to make the site fully operational.

Minutes of the December WARCC Board meeting were approved, with corrections made to two items: adding a mark after a statement quoted from Dan about Witoka tower utilization, and correcting the spelling of the City of St. Charles. The Treasurer's report was also approved.
