Exhibitors must present a current negative coggins test and follow Wisconsin state law for out-of-state horses. They are responsible for loss, injury, or damage and must wear wristbands. Horses cannot be hit, and improper language or actions will be penalized. Ponies must be 56 inches or under, and animals must be humanely cared for. Contestants under 18 must wear approved helmets, and the ringmaster enforces safety precautions. The judge's decision is final, and patterns are at their discretion. Horses can only be shown once per class, except for gymkhana games, and training devices are prohibited in equitation and pleasure classes.
