Horseathlon Event.pdf

The event takes place on a horse sports facility in Plaffeien, Switzerland. The Horseathlon team welcomes all participants, visitors, and helpers. The event concept has been developed in collaboration with the Swiss Leisure Riding Association over 10 years, with new insights gained during this time. However, these experiences were not fully implemented in recent years, leading the Horseathlon team to take over the organization of the event again from 2016.

Event Schedule

9:00 am - 5:00 pm: Horseathlon competition
1:00 pm: Award ceremony for category F3/D3
5:00 pm: Award ceremony for categories F2/D2/D1

General Provisions

Start times are binding, and late arrivals will be excluded from the competition.
Participants must pick up their start numbers at the info stand before the start.
A deposit of CHF 10 will be charged for the start numbers.
Participants who have not paid the entry fee by the start day will only receive their start number against cash payment.
PWs and transporters may only be parked in designated parking areas.
Participants are asked to dispose of manure in the provided wheelbarrows.

Participation and Liability

Participation in the Horseathlon and other disciplines is at the participant's own risk.
The organizer assumes no liability for accidents, theft, or damage that may occur to riders, owners, spectators, or horses.
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

* Plaques and natural prizes will be awarded to all Horseathlon participants.
