SADDLERY and HORSE GEAR:

- Bridle chin straps must be made from leather or synthetic leather
- Ear covers are allowed in all disciplines except Group E
- Nose nets are permitted but must be translucent
- Running martingales are not permitted in Group C and others
- Standing martingales are only permitted in Mounted Games
- Martingale stoppers and rein stoppers must be leather or rubber
- Rein length must not hang below the toe of the rider's boot or the point of the horse's elbow
- Grass reins, anti-grazing reins, and balance reins are permitted in Group A
- Bit clips are permitted but must be taped for Mounted Games
- Saddles must have an appropriate girth, and pony pads are permitted
- Treeless saddles have specific usage guidelines
- Saddle cloths are limited to one with a commercial riser pad or gel pad
- Stirrup bars must be in the open position, and stirrups have specific material and design restrictions
- Whip loops must be cut off, and dressage whips have length restrictions
- Bit thickness must be at least 10mm, and curb bits require a curb chain.
