Summary

The West Midlands Area Online Chess league is open to clubs in the region, with a Spring League and Summer League competition. The Summer League has two divisions with 9 teams each, playing one-on-one team matches every Thursday at 8pm on chess.com. Each fixture consists of two matches with four boards, and players get a turn with white and black pieces. The team with the most match points wins, with game points used for tie breaks. Results are reported on the LMS website, with league tables generated automatically. Player eligibility requires team members to be club members or associate members, with a maximum combined grading of 560 points for Div 2 teams, and all team members must be ECF members or supporters.
