Ventures Unlimited has had a fantastic year with new work projects, community placements, and programs, including the AHOY program for youth with disabilities and the SEED program for senior citizens. The organization is grateful for the support of funders, business partners, staff, and board of directors. Ventures offers various activities, including travel programs, educational and historic site visits, and theme park trips. The organization's mission is to assist people in obtaining development, personal independence, and employment goals. A new Mentor Coordinator, Kari Koenecke, has been hired to work with the AHOY program, and the organization is seeking mentors for the program. The Cameron facility has had a great year, with a new building, commercial kitchen, and Thrift Shoppe, and has organized various activities, including day trips and outings. The Hayward Thrift Store has participated in the "Lure" of Lights and has been busy with donations and sales.
