- Handle valves using lifting straps, not flange holes or handwheel; keep protection covers on ends; store in 'closed' position.

- Installation and Start-up:
- Valves are delivered closed, ready for use; clean inside with compressed air before opening.
- Do not disassemble or modify valves before installation.
- Close valves by turning handwheel clockwise (arrow 'C'); open by turning counterclockwise (arrow 'O').
