Summary

The R2..xx-S.. is a characterised control valve, 2-way, with internal thread, for open and closed cold and warm water systems, and for modulating water-side control of air handling units and heating systems. It is air bubble tight and has a flow characteristic of equal percentage (VDI/VDE 2178). The valve is designed for use in stationary heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, and must be installed by authorised specialists. The valve has various types with different kvs values, DN, Rp, PN, and Sv min. values. It is made of brass body nickel-plated, stainless steel closing element, stem, stem seal O-ring EPDM, valve seat PTFE, O-ring EPDM, and characterising disc TEFZEL. The valve has a rated pressure of 1600 kPa, closing pressure of 1400 kPa, and differential pressure of 350 kPa. It is maintenance-free and has a leakage rate of A, air-bubble-tight (EN 12266-1). The valve can be installed upright to horizontal, and the flow direction must be complied with to avoid damage.
