Its corrosion resistance is superior to other quench-hardenable martensitic stainless steels, with a 4-level rating scale for comparative purposes. The alloy's physical properties include a specific gravity of 7.92, density of 0.2860 lb/in³, and thermal conductivity of 105.0 BTU-in/hr/ft²/°F at 100°F.
