Fabshield 21B is a self-shielded, flux-cored wire for welding, offering excellent operator appeal, increased productivity, and versatility. It is ideal for various applications, including general fabrication, non-alloyed and fine grain steels, pre-fab construction, and rail car repairs. The wire has a fast freezing, basic/fluoride type slag system and requires no shielding gas, using Direct Current Electrode Negative (DCEN). Standard diameters range from 0.030" to 5/64" and it is available in various spool sizes. The wire provides excellent bead appearance, helps ensure weld integrity, and reduces re-work, with easy slag removal and clean-up.
