The V-Gard 950 is a non-vented industrial safety helmet with an integrated face shield, designed for protection against top impact hazards, chemical splash, Ultra-Violet radiation, molten metal splash, and electric arc to the face. It features a balanced, lightweight design with a 6-point Fas-Trac III ratchet suspension and a GS-ET-29 class 1 face shield. The helmet is made of ABS for strength and lateral crush protection and has a modern, dynamic sports-styled shell with a low profile and a channel around the perimeter to divert rain and debris. It is anti-static, certified for use in ATEX/explosive environments, and provides protection against molten metal and electric arc. The helmet is compatible with hearing protection, has a 4-point chinstrap, and comes with a protective reusable storage bag. Optional features include a chin cup made with arc flash resistant materials, arc flash ear flaps, and a badge/lamp holder. The helmet meets various standards, including EN 397, EN 50365, and EN 166, and is certified by CE notified bodies APAVE and DINCERTCO.
