Summary

The Storagetech Model 142 is a top-mounted, pipe-away, spring-loaded pressure relief valve designed to protect bulk storage tanks and vessels from over and under pressurization. It is mounted on the tank roof flange or a vent pipe from the vapor space and is especially preferred for transferring vapor content to collection systems or condensation units. The valve has a pressure relief pallet and diaphragm assembly held tightly against a seal to prevent vapor loss to the atmosphere. It is available in standard sizes from 2" to 12" (DN50 to DN300) and has various material options, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The valve has a setting range of +35 mbar and +1000 mbar and can operate in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. It also has a flow capacity table and is designed to meet international norms, including EN ISO 80079-36 and API 2000 7th Edition.
