The Frostrivers tribe lives along the Great Frozen River, following the laws of the Four Elders and the Neta-Tanka. When the Neta-Tanka's life ends, the tribe gathers to choose a successor, who must demonstrate generosity and ability to provide for the tribe. The game's goal is to earn the most victory points by nourishing the clan, constructing tents, erecting the tallest totem pole, handcrafting objects, and performing acts of generosity. The game includes various components, such as a Village board, Nomads, Neta-Tanka cards, Objective cards, and resources like Wood, Hide, Meat, and Mushroom tokens. Players take turns gathering resources, constructing tents, and erecting their Totem Pole, with the game ending when all players have completed their Totem Pole or when the Round Counter token reaches the end of the track. Points are scored based on the number of Tents completed, Handicraft cards, and the height of the Totem Pole.
