HTU21D(F) Sensor is a digital relative humidity sensor with temperature output, designed for high-volume and cost-sensitive applications with tight space constraints. The sensor is fully calibrated and tested, with individual marking for compliance to stringent traceability requirements. It features a reflow solderable Dual Flat No leads (DFN) package of 3 x 3 mm footprint and 0.9 mm height.

The HTU21D(F) sensor provides calibrated, linearized signals in digital, I²C format, with a resolution of 12 bits for relative humidity and 14 bits for temperature. It has a fast response time, low power consumption, and is compatible with automated assembly processes, including Pb-free and reflow processes.

The sensor is available with an optional PTFE filter/membrane, which protects against dust, water immersion, and contamination by particles, while preserving a high response time. The white PTFE filter/membrane is directly stuck on the sensor housing.

The HTU21D(F) sensor is suitable for various applications, including automotive (defogging, HVAC), home appliances, medical, printers, and humidifiers. It is fully interchangeable with no calibration required in standard conditions.

The HTU21D(F) sensor is qualified to withstand one lead-free reflow soldering recommended process profile, according to JEDEC standard. Mounting parts within 24 hours after printing solder paste is recommended to avoid potential dry-up. For manual soldering, contact time must be limited to 5 seconds at up to 350°C.
