Kroon-Oil Coolant SP 11 is a heat transfer fluid mixture with the trade name Kroon-Oil Coolant SP 11, product code 09.10.04, and UFI UN80-V9E4-H00D-TS0U. It is intended for industrial, professional, and consumer use as an antifreeze and coolant. The mixture contains 1,2-ethanediol, methyl-1H-benzotriazole, and acetic acid, (2-benzothiazolylthio)-, potassium salt. It is classified as Acute Tox. 4 (Oral) and STOT RE 2, with hazard statements H302 and H373. The product has a bitter taste for safety reasons and may cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure. In case of ingestion, it may cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. First aid measures include calling a poison center or doctor, removing person to fresh air, washing skin and eyes with water, and rinsing mouth. Firefighting measures include using water spray, dry powder, foam, or carbon dioxide, and wearing self-contained breathing apparatus and complete protective clothing. Accidental release measures include stopping leaks, notifying authorities, absorbing spillage, and evacuating unnecessary personnel.
