The FieldSmart Makwa Fiber Distribution Hub (FDH) 288 PON Cabinet provides 12 to 288 ports of connectivity for PON, utilizing patch and splice or patch only technology, and is scalable to meet customer requirements with below grade mounting options to eliminate aesthetics issues. It features a compact design, roughly 50% smaller than existing above grade cabinets, and includes pre-assembled components, such as the Clearview Black Cassettes, for field-ready deployment. The Makwa has a maximum port density of 288, up to 48 feeder/express ports, and supports various cassette types, connector types, and cable types. It also provides protection from water intrusion, has a removable/resealable dome for easy access, and offers flexible configuration options, including pole mount or in-vault mounting.
