## Manthorpe Roll-Out Dry Ridge System Summary

This system provides a dry fix solution for installing ridge tiles on roofs, offering excellent ventilation (5,000mm²/m) and compatibility with most tile types except Redland Delta and some deep Pantiles.

Key Components:

Vent Roll (GDRR-RR): Corrugated polypropylene strip that seals the ridge, providing ventilation.
Batten Support Brackets (GDRR-BS): Adjustable brackets (bent to fit specific tile profiles) used to secure the vent roll and ridge tiles.
Polypropylene Ridge Unions (GDRR-RU): Connect adjacent ridge tiles.

Installation:

1. Prepare Roof: Lay roofing underlay and fix battens as normal, leaving a small gap (5-8mm) for ventilation if desired.
2. Fix Brackets: Attach Batten Support Brackets to rafters at the apex of each rafter using stainless steel nails.
3. Install Vent Roll: Roll out the vent roll along the ridge, securing it every meter with staples or felt nails.
4. Secure Ridge Tiles: Lay ridge tiles and use Ridge Unions between them. Bend brackets as needed for different tile profiles (refer to tables 1-3). Secure tiles to battens using Clamping Plates.
5. Complete Roof: Finish roofing the rest of the roof, including fixing top course tiles and dry verge systems if used.

Compatibility & Notes:

Compatible with most roof tile types except Redland Delta and some deep Pantiles.
System meets BS 8612 performance requirements.
Vent roll lengths may be reduced for high profile tile formats.
