The Power supply NTV 44 Processing was developed to use the L-Probe on all common controller systems. It converts the L-Probe Signal to an equivalent mV Signal of an Oxygen Probe. The user can input correction factors K1, K2 via Terminal T300, and a two-point correction mechanism is included. Special functions such as flushing Probe, recovery time, and flushing time can be input via Terminal T300. The NTV 44 Processing supplies high constant voltages, e.g., for lambda probes and other loads. An active 4-wire circuit ensures that line resistances up to 1 ohm and related voltage drops are compensated. The polarity of the heating voltage is reversed automatically at regular intervals to avoid oxidation effects on the lambda probe heater, which shorten the life of the probe.

The power supply has a Macrolon housing for wall mounting, dimensions of 160 x 120 x 90 mm (lxwxh), and a weight of 1.85 kg. The housing is IP 64 protected. The connection is via pluggable screw terminals, and the wire cross-section is max. 2.5 mm. The connection L-probe is via a 1 m connection cable with plug and coupler. The auxiliary voltage is 115/230 Vac/50-60 Hz, approx. 50 VA.

The input measuring probe has a range of 0...1300 mVdc (L-probe signal), and the output power supply unit has a maximum of 12.00 Vdc with 3 A tolerance and ±20 mV. The output measuring probe has a range of 0...1300 mVdc (L-probe signal, 1:1). An option is available for a physically separated output of 0...20 mA or 4...20 mA.

Advanced options include %O2 and Dew Point calculation with current temperature, conversion of L-probe voltage into O2 sensor voltage, and optional handheld terminal T300 for configuration of universal outputs, two-point correction constants, digital input, and two digital outputs. The isolated analog output is standard in the advanced version. The current or voltage output of O2% is in the range defined through terminal T300. The line cross-sections are as follows: two-wire circuit <= 2 m, four-wire circuit <= 15 m, <= 20 m, <= 30 m, <= 40 m, <= 70 m, >= 1.0 mm2, >= 0.5 mm2, >= 0.75 mm2, >= 1.0 mm2, >= 1.5 mm2, >= 2.5 mm2.

The technical data include line resistance max. 1 ohm, climate storage -10...+70 °C, operation 0...+50 °C, 5...95 % relative humidity, non-condensing.
