PolyMide™ PA6-CF is a carbon fiber reinforced PA6 filament with improved stiffness, strength, and heat resistance. It has a density of 1.17 g/cm3, melt index of 20.5 g/10min, and moisture absorption of 3.33%. The filament is not resistant to weak acids, strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents, but has slight resistance to weak alkalis and resistance to oils and grease. Its thermal properties include a glass transition temperature of 74.2°C, melting temperature of 218.5°C, and decomposition temperature of >370°C. The mechanical properties include a Young's modulus of 7453 MPa, tensile strength of 105 MPa, and Charpy impact strength of 13.34 kJ/m2. Printing conditions include a nozzle temperature of 280-300°C, build plate temperature of 25-50°C, and printing speed of 30-60 mm/s.
