Permabond 940 is a low-odour, non-fogging cyanoacrylate adhesive with features including ease of use, bonding most materials, and 100% reactivity without solvents. The adhesive has a shear strength of 16-20 N/mm² on steel, 8-9 N/mm² on aluminium, and 8 N/mm² on zinc, with an impact strength of 3-5 kJ/m² and dielectric strength of 25 kV/mm. It can withstand temperatures from -55°C to brief periods of high temperatures, and has a coefficient of thermal expansion of 90 x 10-6 mm/mm/°C and thermal conductivity of 0.1 W/(m.K).
