Uvijet KL is a UV-LED curing ink system for Acuity LED 40 series inkjet printers, offering excellent adhesion to various media types, including polycarbonate, Dibond, styrene, and PVC foam board. The ink system features high performance, good to fair adhesion to rigid plastic substrates, high satin finish, and excellent color gamut. It is recommended for indoor and external applications. The Uvijet KL ink range includes black, yellow, magenta, light magenta, cyan, light cyan, white, and clear, supplied in 1-2 liter sealed pouches. The inks have good chemical and abrasion resistance and are compatible with the ink supply system of Acuity LED 40 presses. Fujifilm warrants that Uvijet KL inks will not cause damage to the print heads if used according to recommendations. The inks are suitable for outdoor use, with accelerated weathering tests showing approximately 24 months of outdoor exposure in a temperate climate. Storage conditions should be moderate temperatures between 5°C and 30°C, with a shelf-life of 12 months from the date of manufacture. Uvijet KL inks are not classified as 'dangerous substances' and have a flash point greater than 60°C. They are also free from ozone-depleting chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and volatile solvents, making them a more environmentally friendly option. Fujifilm has certifications to ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001, and is committed to minimizing the risk to users and the environment. Uvijet KL has gained UL GREENGUARD Gold Certification, indicating low chemical emissions.
