TCI/TCP series motors have operating parameters of 380V to 415V, 50Hz & 440V to 480V, 60Hz supply, continuous duty, ambient temperatures up to 40°C, and installation up to 1000 MASL. Connection options include 230V Delta / 400V Star (3kW & below) and 400V Delta / 690V Star (4kW & above). The motors conform to Australian Standard AS/NZS 1359 and International Standards IEC 60034 and IEC 60072. They are available in standard and high efficiency models, with the TCI range complying with MEPS2 requirements of AS/NZS 1359.5:2004 Table A2 and the TCP range complying with MEPS2 requirements of AS/NZS 1359.5:2004 Table A3. The motors are insulated with Class F materials, limited to Class B temperature rise, and have windings that are spike resistant, making them suitable for use with VVVF drives. Thermistors are fitted as standard in frame sizes 160 and above, with a trip temperature of 150°C. The motors have a standard degree of enclosure protection of IP 55, with increased IP protection available. They also feature a multi-mount design, allowing for the motor feet to be removed and repositioned to either side to produce a side-mounted terminal box. The terminal box is manufactured from cast iron and is mounted on top of the motor as standard. The motors are painted with high-quality alkyd enamel, with the final color being RAL 9005 Jet Black. Other colors are available upon request. The motors are fitted with high-quality NSK bearings, with C3 diametrical clearances. Frame sizes 80 to 132 have sealed-for-life deep groove ball bearings, while frame sizes 160 to 355 have re-greaseable bearings with facilities to replenish the grease during operation. The part number logic is composed of 13 positions, with each position representing a specific characteristic of the motor, such as the manufacturer, series, frame size, and output. The motors have a noise level that complies with the limits shown in IEC 60034.9 and AS1359.109 standards. The permissible radial and axial loads for the motors are detailed in a table, with values calculated on a basic bearing life of L10 of 40,000 hours. The motors are lubricated with polyurea-based bearing grease, and the recommended bearing maintenance is detailed in a table, with the grease quantity and interval hours specified for each frame size and bearing type. The full-load speed, current, efficiency, power factor, torque, and noise level for each motor are detailed in a table, with values provided for 2-pole, 4-pole, 6-pole, and 8-pole motors.
