Silicoflex Locking Adhesive is a one-part neutral curing, medium-modulus silicone sealant used to adhere the Extruded Silicoflex Bridge Expansion Joint to concrete, elastomeric concrete, polymer concrete, or steel joint interfaces, and as a water-tight joint sealing system. It cures in less than 24 hours, exhibits excellent green strength, and retains elastomeric properties at temperatures ranging from -60°F to 350°F. The adhesive has tenacious adhesion, extreme movement capabilities, and high strength, with no cracking, ozone chalking, or degradation. It is available in 29 oz caulking tubes and has a one-year shelf life. Typical physical properties include tensile strength of 225 PSI, elongation of 550%, and dynamic joint movement of ±50%.
