Summary

filmolux® 609 is a one-sided self-adhesive, cadmium-free, transparent, glossy, colourless, plasticized PVC-film with high initial adhesion. It is washable and resistant to a large number of detergents and solvents, and has a tested antibacterial effect according to ISO 22196 (mod). The film is coated on one side with a solvent-free, age-resistant, and permanently elastic acrylate adhesive. It is suitable for protection of books, labels, brochures, drawings, and other materials, and can be applied on rough surfaces. The film has a thickness of 70±5 μm, a weight of 90±5 g/m2, and a breaking force of >30 N/15mm lengthwise and >25 N/15mm crosswise. The adhesive has a pH-value of approx. 7.0 and an adhesive strength of >6.0 N/25mm after 10 minutes and >10.0 N/25mm after 24 hours. The film can be stored at 18°-25°C and 40-65% relative humidity, and has a shelf life of 2 years.
