TruBolt Xtrem is a seismic certified, heavy-duty, torque-controlled expansion anchor for permanent anchoring into concrete, certified for seismic C1 and C2 applications. It has the highest level of European approval for mechanical expansion anchors and is approved for all directions. The anchor has maximum tensile and shear capacities in cracked concrete and is available in zinc plating and stainless steel. It is suitable for structural loads, provides improved security, and is resistant to cyclic loading. The principal applications include seismic anchoring, anchoring into cracked and non-cracked concrete, structural steel columns and beams, and road barrier hold-down. Installation involves drilling a hole, inserting the anchor, and tightening the nut with a torque wrench.
