The study of these states is important for understanding the strong interaction and the quark model, and PANDA is well-suited to populate these states due to its large acceptance and particle identification capability. The experiment has the potential to collect large statistics samples and perform partial wave analyses, which are necessary for identifying the quantum numbers of observed states. While other facilities, such as JLAB, will also study baryon resonances, PANDA's unique combination of the antiproton-proton entrance channel and high detector performance makes it an ideal experiment for studying multi-strange and charmed baryons.
