Description
The study examines the biological resistance of single-layer particleboards (PBs) produced with the addition of copper sulphate pentahydrate (CuSO4.5H2O) to melamine-urea formaldehyde (MUF) glue in varying amounts. The addition of copper biocide to MUF glues containing the hardener NH4NO3 reduced the curing time from 198 to 117 seconds. The biocide had an evident effect.
