- Algal Test: Significant growth inhibition of P. subcapitata biomass was observed, with EC5(μ), EC10(μ), and EC20(μ) values of 0.31 μM, 0.58 μM, and 1.12 μM, respectively.

- Duckweed Test: L. minor exhibited 50% growth inhibition at a PtCl4 concentration of 19.55 μM (EC50(μ)) and 13.63 μM (EC50(A)).

Conclusion:

The duckweed fronds showed severe platinum toxicity symptoms (chlorosis, necrosis). The algal test, particularly using the area under the growth curve (A), proved to be the most sensitive method for assessing platinum toxicity.
