Summary

EDEN 62, syndicat mixte créé en 1996, gère les espaces naturels sensibles du Pas-de-Calais, notamment le site du Cap Gris-Nez, classé Grand Site de France en 2011. Le site abrite des mares colonisées par la Crassule de Helms, une espèce invasive qui étouffe la végétation aquatique et provoque un atterrissement. Des interventions de curage ont été réalisées en décembre 2014 pour contenir l'expansion de l'espèce et éviter sa dissémination sur le littoral de la Côte d'Opale. Les résultats montrent que 600 mètres cubes de terre et de végétaux ont été évacués, mais que la Crassule a repris possession de 20 à 30 % de la superficie des mares curées en juillet 2015. Les opérations ont coûté 30 000 € HT et ont mobilisé cinq personnes pendant cinq jours.
