Summary

ASTM Proficiency Testing Program (PTP) is a statistical quality assurance program that enables laboratories to assess their performance in using ASTM test methods with other laboratories worldwide. Participation is open to all laboratories, and the participation fee remains the same regardless of the number of tests performed. Registration can be done online through the ASTM website, and labs can add or delete products from their shopping cart as needed. ASTM honors confidentiality arrangements and has a shipping policy that includes shipment of sample materials to participating labs in the US, with some programs also including shipment to labs outside the US. Payment methods include credit card, check, and electronic funds transfer, and receipts/invoices are emailed to the lab after registration. After registration, labs can access their interactive data entry form through the PTP portal.
