2. Hazard Identification:

Acute Toxicity (Oral): May cause harm if swallowed.
Carcinogenicity: Category 1A - Known to be carcinogenic.
Specific Target Organ Toxicity (Repeated Exposure): Category 2 - Harmful to organs like the respiratory system and kidneys with prolonged or repeated exposure.
Hazardous to Aquatic Life: Categories 1 & 2 - Very toxic to aquatic life, both acute and long-term.
Combustible Dust: OSHA defined hazard.

3. Composition/Ingredients:

Active Ingredient: Bromacil (80.0%)
Other Components: Sodium alkylnaphthalene sulfonate (1-5%), Crystalline Silica (≥ 0.1%)

4. First Aid Measures:

Inhalation: Remove contaminated clothing, wash face with water for at least 15 minutes.
Skin Contact: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if easy to do. Call a doctor or poison control center.
Eye Contact: Call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Rinse eyes with water for 15 minutes if conscious.
Ingestion: Sip a glass of water (if conscious), avoid inducing vomiting unless advised by poison control. Seek immediate medical attention.

5. Fire-Fighting Measures:

Use water spray, foam. Do not use water jet due to contamination risk.

6. Accidental Release Measures:

Keep people away from spill/leak. Wear appropriate protective equipment. Prevent runoff into drains or water courses.
Shovel up, sweep up or vacuum up material and place in a container for disposal. Remove top 2 inches of soil if spilled near valuable plants or trees.

7. Handling & Storage:

Store in original, tightly closed container in cool, dry place. Keep away from heat and ignition sources. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not contaminate water, other pesticides, fertilizer, food or feed products. Keep out of reach of children.

8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection:

Occupational Exposure Limits: PEL (Permissible Exposure Limit) for Bromacil is 0.05 mg/m³; TWA (Threshold Limit Value) for Crystalline Silica is 0.1 mg/m³.
