Institut für Korrosions- und Schadensanalyse, Dr.-Ing. Sabine Schultze, führte einen Salzsprühnebeltest auf beschichteten Proben durch, um die Korrosionsbeständigkeit zu prüfen. Die Probe mit temporärem Korrosionsschutz "Safegreencoating" zeigte nach 24 Stunden keine Rotrostbildung, die Schichtdicke betrug 28-40 µm. Der temporäre Korrosionsschutz war somit über den Prüfzeitraum wirksam.
