Summary

Magnetoresistive effects in perpendicularly magnetized Tb-Co alloy based thin films and spin valves are studied, showing strong perpendicular anisotropy and tunable magnetization. Various magnetoresistance signals, including giant magnetoresistance (GMR), anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR), extraordinary Hall effect (EHE), and magnon magnetoresistance (MMR), are investigated. The angular dependence of these effects is also examined, and it is demonstrated that the sign and amplitude of the GMR and EHE signals can be tuned by adjusting the Tb-Co layer composition in a spin valve structure.
