Summary

Increase OLED lighting panel efficacy to >90 lm/W, lifetime to >100,000 hr, and decrease $/klm. Develop a one-time bendable ultra-thin OLED panel frame sub-assembly and low-cost drivers. Combine technologies to create a commercially viable ultra-thin, bendable, high efficacy OLED light engine. Current results include development of bendable internal light extraction, large panel production, one-time bendable sub-assembly, and lower cost driver. Efficacy of up to 88.5 lm/W and lifetime of up to 30,000 hrs have been achieved. Further optimization and lifetime improvement are needed to meet objectives.
