Summary

OMFIT is a workflow manager designed to facilitate and automate integrated modeling, specifying physics to be modeled, retrieving experimental data, running simulations or analysis, and visualizing results. Modeling tasks are organized into modules, which can be combined to create large multi-physics simulations. A unified Graphical User Interface oversees all aspects of analysis management. OMFIT allows integration of existing simulation tools without requiring standardized data formats. This poster describes OMFIT and presents applications, including self-consistent optimization of DIII-D AT scenarios using a cost-function approach to achieve multiple simultaneous goals.
