Summary

The influence of porosity, grain grading, and humidity on the material behavior of cohesive soils can be investigated using these models. EOS data were determined for cohesive soils depending on these parameters by numerically loading micro-mechanically modeled grains and measuring the density under a certain pressure in the finite element model.
