Summary

Researchers construct a strong extractor against quantum storage with logarithmic seed length, outputting Ω(k) bits, for any min-entropy k and quantum adversary with at most βk qubits of memory, where β < 1/2. They also improve the construction of a strong quantum-proof extractor in the high min-entropy regime, using a logarithmic seed length to extract Ω(n) bits from any source over {0, 1}n with min-entropy at least (1-β)n.
