Summary

Morphologie und mechanische Eigenschaften von Zellulosefasern wurden mit Röntgen- und Neutronenstreuung untersucht. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Orientierungsfunktion der Kristalle in Bezug auf die Faserachse mit zunehmender Dehnung verbessert wird. Die Untersuchung der morphologischen Struktur von Zelluloseproben aus Baumwolllinters und Holzzellstoff ergab eine deutliche Erhöhung des Anteils an nicht-kristalliner Zellulose nach Hydrolyse. Der Elastizitätsmodul der Zellulosekristalle wurde bestimmt und ist niedriger als erwartet. Die Querkontraktion der Kristalle konnte beobachtet werden und eine Poissonzahl für Zellulose I und II wurde ermittelt.
