Summary

Quantum manipulation is a fundamental technique in quantum information processing, and this research demonstrates the geometric quantum manipulation of degenerate spin qubits in diamond by applying geometric phase through microwave polarization. The study shows that quantum states can be manipulated in spins in a single nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center in diamond under a degenerate system, leading to the realization of quantum devices such as quantum repeaters at room temperature. The experiment achieved an initialization rate of 63%, and the fidelity of the geometric phase rotation operation was 91%, 92%, and 90% for the X, Y, and Z axes, respectively. The research also demonstrated quantum operation with a fidelity of 90%, 86%, and 95% for the X, Y, and Z axes, respectively.
