Summary

Arabic morphology generation is complex due to infixation, prefixation, and suffixation, resulting in a large space of morphological variation. A concatenative strategy using discrimination trees and transformational rules can reduce the complexity by decoupling stem changes from prefixes and suffixes, achieving a significant reduction in the number of rules required. The approach focuses on hollow verbs but can be extended to other verb classes and parts of speech, improving the space efficiency and maintainability of the system.
