Summary

Jitter tolerance test measures a high-speed wireline receiver's resilience to additional sinusoidal jitter. A UVM testbench performs an iterative search to find the maximum sinusoidal jitter magnitude that can be tolerated for a target bit error rate of 10^-12 for each sinusoidal jitter frequency. The testbench uses a combination of linear and binary search to find the maximum jitter tolerance meeting the bit error rate requirement, with a total of 106 trials taking 41 minutes to complete.
