Jonas Blattgerste und Thies Pfeiffer beschreiben TrainAR, ein kostenloses Open-Source-Autorensystem, mit dem prozedurale Smartphone-basierte Augmented-Reality-Trainings erstellt werden können. TrainAR soll Fachexperten befähigen, eigenständig interaktive AR-Trainings zu entwickeln und einzusetzen. Das System besteht aus einem Interaktionskonzept, einem Desktop-Autorensystem und einem didaktischen Konzept. Lernende können in einem TrainAR-Training virtuelle Objekte frei im Raum platzieren und mit diesen interagieren. Das TrainAR-Autorensystem ist eine Erweiterung der Unity Engine und ermöglicht es Autoren, 3D-Modelle zu importieren und in nicht-linearen Prozessabläufen zu referenzieren. TrainAR ist als Open-Source-Projekt unter der MIT-Lizenz verfügbar.
