ChangeMacroRecorder is a tool that records fine-grained textual changes of source code in Eclipse's Java editor, improving the accuracy and convenience of recorded changes. It automatically records all textual changes and actions while a programmer writes and modifies code, constituting a series of change macros. The tool overcomes the limitations of existing change recording tools, such as OperationRecorder and Fluorite, which lose textual changes distributed to multiple files or exclude changes in not-opened files.
