Summary

Mobile devices are limited by battery life, despite advancements in technology. To address this, a concept called "Early Bird" is introduced, which exploits remote resources in a distributed network to extend the execution scope of mobile devices. The Early Bird acts as a supervisor, tracking the state of mobile devices and intercepting requests to process them without waking up the device, thus saving energy. This approach can reduce energy consumption by up to 29.2 Wmin, increasing battery life by at least 12%.
