Summary

This bachelor's thesis discusses the results of providing users with statistics about their listening behavior and insights into common patterns in music collections using the Jukefox music player for Android. The thesis also attempts to replace the existing Smart-Shuffle algorithm with one based on user listening statistics. The new algorithm, Smart-Shuffle v2.0, uses agents to select songs the user might like, considering factors such as favorite songs, repetition, and suggestions. The thesis also explores transactions in SQLite and discusses limitations and future work.
