SkyCast Wind Profiling System Installations.pdf

SkyCast Wind and Thermodynamic Profiling System (WTPS) installations typically include an MP-3000A and a radar wind profiler (RWP), with acoustic wind profiler (AWP) as an option. VizAir analysis software provides wind shear detection from the surface to 3+ km AGL, and supports detection and nowcasting of fog, turbulence, sea breezes, inversions, and other high impact weather conditions. Thirteen new airport systems will be delivered in 2021-2022 to Africa and Thailand.
